Need help on 1985 FJ60

Tested these:
Power to coil (Fine)
New Wires Installed
New plugs installed

BUT:
No power to distributor from ignitor. Meaning ... power is going into ignitor but no power is coming out of it. There is no way the ignitor is the problem as I have tested it.

Thanks!

I'm no ignitorologist, but if proper power/connections are being supplied to the I. but nothing's coming out then it ISN'T working correctly. Suggestion: Find a used one locally, buy and return if not needed. Where are you located? If you're near L.A./Santa Monica, you can borrow my spare to test.

Thanks dude! I'm in White Sands NM. I am ordering a used one from cruiserparts.net but they are closed today. I have to wait until next week. I'll keep you guys posted.

Does "no power out of the igniter" translate to "no spark"?...if so, the next item in line is the signal generator(in the dist) which have been known to fail from blocked dist cap ventilation or just 'cause they're old. Next in line would be the gap between the signal rotor and the sig gen, etc. Are you working from the 2F engine manual?
