I've bled several quarts of fluid through the system. I purchased a pressure bleeder, didn't work. I'm ready to give in and take it somewhere and pay to have it fixed. This is my last attempt.

If anyone would care to help me, please let me know. I had planned on driving up to Lake Tahoe on Saturday with my fiancé to spend the week there. If I can't get these brakes working this will be a very sad Christmas for us.

I'm in Huntington Beach, but I can drive it to you. The brakes work well enough to drive it, just very spongy. I'll bring pizza, beer, chips & salsa. I'd imagine Friday would be free for most people.

Josh,

Is this on the 80?

Did you change something in the system to warrant it to be bled? (new m/c, brake lines, calipers???)

Yes, the 80. I installed new rotors all around, new brake lines, new front calipers, axle rebuild. I let the reservoir run dry.

I actually got it bled and the pedal is no longer spongy. The problem was I was cracking the bleeders way to much. I re-bled everything with a different approach and it's all good now. :)
