I bought a Tepui RTT from a fellow mudder and I need to mount it to the 100. I really do not want a full roof rack (unless someone has a cheap one for sale) These are the options I'm looking at:

Vortex RSP Black 3 Bar Roof Rack | Rhino-Rack

I've emailed Rhino Rack about there weigh limits. On there web site it says everything has a 264 lbs max. Not sure what makes there other models heavy duty if they all have the same weigh rating.

Thule AeroBlade

Thule option

I would appreciate your ideas, thoughts and are there other options?

Thanks

A. Rhino rack bars.

Concrete runs them although they look a bit different profile than those. His are more square. Maybe that is part of their universal series look or gutter mounts require a diff profile. Are those the only model that fit the 100?

Ok nm. Looks like square are the HD series. Id get 3 of those and roll.

Can you buy gutter mounts for a hundo by themselves like youc an for 40s/60s/80s? I wonder if you can buy just the roof mounting brackets from Slee:

Slee - Front Runner Roof Racks

Maybe they are 264lb per bar

Alex Got two and ordered a third after his first trip. If yours is a tent style maybe it wont need it but i think the fiberglass was flexing enough to get for insurance.

@jfz80 they are 264lbs per bar. I don't think the tent is big enough to reach the front bar. I will do some measurements and see.

No gutters on the Hindi but trail Taylor does make the mounting brackets to go in place of where the stock rack connects.

my opinion is do this and a bi-fold j-moose style rack. But i know you are in a time line to move almost 3000 miles and know how hectic that is so getting something like the rhino rack vortex Is most likely the way to go.

Even on two bars you will be fine. Lots of guys in the hundo section use it. Heck lots just put yakima bars on the stock rack and run a tent.

Yakima also sells a rhino rack type mount but you have to order them from oz

Adam I still have the Thule mounts left from our 100 if it helps. Consider them yours for cheap if you want them but don’t feel obligated.

So you have the brackets that bolt to the stock mounting holes? So all I would need is the load bars them self? Can you post some pics/model #s? or text them to me please?

Yeah, I’ll dig them out when I get home this evening.
