I've seen on other boards where people say something generic about what they do for a living - in hopes that if it's something that another member can use or benefit from, we can all share the wealth.
Something like:
"Professional Roofer - 20 years - willing to give ONSC members a really good price on a new roof"

Me: Corporate Operations Management - 23 years - willing to share my employee discount on Frye boots
My wife: Jewelry Designer (www.danaleblanc.com) 10 years - Standing discount for you folks: coupon code: "Jamesonthehook" at checkout. I think it's 15 or 20% off.
I know, it's nothing great. but I'm hoping there are some people that can benefit from this. And I know that given the choice of a faceless corporation or someone that you know drives a land cruiser, it's an easy decision.
