does anyone know where I can get one of these box covers shown in the pictures. thanks

You just get someone who does boat seats or other similar types of trim to make you one. And you need to bend up a piece of 10mm rod to hold the centre tight

I thought someone was already manufacturing these covers for 79 series trucks. thx I'll look into that.
 
I’d be curious also. It might be easier to get one made locally though.
The 4wd action Victoria High country episodes usually feature the Piranha Off-road Owner and his HDJ79 with a factory box/tub/styleside. I’ll be doing one in mine
 
They are called tonneau covers in most places and readily available for the 75 series style side in Australia

Any motor trimmer or boat place should do them. They are like head linings Bread and Butter job for any Motor trimmer worth his weight .
