I'm trying to find a reasonable solution to running w/o my front swaybar and still protect my front drive train by limiting extreme CV angles. I'm getting two different ideas on the best way to measure a reference point to determine the length of the limit straps.

First, jack front end up until both wheels are off the ground, with swaybar attached, measure one of the lines in the picture below, find the strap that is one inch shorter than the measurement.

Second, using an RTI ramp, find the point of max articulation, with swaybar on, measure the droop, subtract an inch, get the strap for that.

Third, using an RTI ramp, same as above then "calculate" the measurement of the limit strap. Couldn't nail down the actual calculation from the person giving this method - fishy...

I prefer to run w/o front swaybar but I'm getting some feedback that I'm begging for a CV problem. I don't feel a great difference with the OME 886 springs up front and really don't push/drive hard on the roads anyway.

Thanks in advance for your help, guidance and spanking if necessary...
