Help in Monrovia. Couple of Questions...

**I hope this is the right section for this truck, if not, moderators please move it.**

First off, my Dad lives / works in Monrovia, Liberia and he is having some problems with his 91' Cruiser (auto, 4x4, made in the USA, v-6 with air cond.) I know NOTHING about these rigs, I am a Land Rover guy, so please be gentle.

1. He is wondering about plug wires, who makes the best? Used wires over there are going for $30 - $40 apiece so he wants me to mail him a couple of new sets.

2. Plugs. His mechanic recommended NGK #BKR5EYA. Yeah or nay? Other suggestions.

3. He is thinking about ARB lockers F and R. Which model(s) should he be looking for? New axles at the same time?

4. He is also looking for an ECU but I only have a pic for plug in side. I'll try and get the VIN or serial number from the unit.

can you post the vin? so we know which model of truck it is? Was it sold in the USA? Then it would be an 80 series. But all of them are made in Japan...


This thread can be moved once we know. The 90 series section is for 90 series cruiser not 1990's. No biggie.

90 series was introduced in 1996, so it must be an 80.
