Help ID and price? (1 Viewer)

So I’m new to military and m416 style trailers.

is this an m416? What would be a fair price for this? New /tires. Aluminum rims. appeared to be pretty solid, some flaking paint but fairly solid overall.

Definitely started life as an M416, but it's been modified. The frame and tongue have been extended, the original fenders have been replaced, the original tail lights and mounts are gone, and it looks like someone cut off the welded tie downs used for the original canvas top. I can't tell for certain but the axle looks original. Someone added a rear bumper of sorts, too. Looks solid from these two pictures.

In my opinion, the frame/tongue extension is pretty long and might get unwieldy on the trails, but on the other hand, it won't jack knife like the original tongue.

Yeah I just found out it was used by a police force in rural nebraska, they put the longer tongue on to back easier, and then it was stored inside. They had a water tank in there and a generator in another one. Pretty minimal use overall, seems pretty solid. Any thoughts on a price range for this?

I know pricing can be skewed high on these depending on which way the wind is blowing, but I honestly wouldn't pay more than $1000.

And I'm actually surprised they kept the lunette after all the other mods.

The good news is that the extended tongue will make it easier to back up. My M101CDN is so short that you’ve got to be on your game.

Market value is probably $1,000-$1,500 I’d guess.
