help i can't shut it off!

i have a 1987 HJ 60 which will not shut off. i have to put it in 3rd and slowly let the clutch out to stall it. i've heard that there is an after market kit which has a cable you pull to shut off the fuel, like waqs done in old diesel tractors. anyone heard of this? any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like your edic motor is shot, this is the fuel sending control.

sounds to me like the EDIC motor has problems too . I had problems with mine going on and off and it ended up being a dodgy earth lead .I would doa continuity test on your earth leads first before anything else .

Or you could always install an electric fuel pump with a toggle switch in the cab. Ready to shut'er down..........just kill the pump.
