**HELP** Found a mysterious part when changing my oil

Found this mysterious part sitting ontop of my bud built skid plates. Any ideas? It was sitting right next to the access port for the oil drain. Didnt have time to investigate further yet, figured I'd see if anyone recognized it before i started pulling off more skid plates.
