Greetings! not entirely new here but haven't logged many hours on the site.
Just picked up a new-to-me GX470. A week later the center-lock light began to flash while parked, then got solid VSC, VSC Trac, and "Slip" lights. Occasionally, the center lock light would blink randomly... this coupled with the "sticky" feel to the button had me thinking there could be a short.
Only code is C1340 (with exception to 4 air susp. faults due to delete)
Pulled the button this morning and it was gummed up with cola or something. Took the switch apart and cleaned with QED elec's cleaner and plugged it back in. Now the center diff light blinks constantly, code will not clear with buddy's Autel.
The center diff did work on command with no delay or flashing during the initial test drive. I have not yet cracked open the actuator to look for gear oil.
Looking for any advice or anecdotes to help rule possibilities.
