Hi guys! I'm new here, and I don't really know where to start. Maybe my desperation for help is preventing me from introducing myself properly. I'll do that in the appropriate thread.

Here's the thing: I repair computers at the electronic level, desktops and laptops.

A dear friend asked me if I could check his ECU, and I said no until he convinced me.

The problem is that he doubts that the ECU is the problem. He doesn't have 12v of PCV+ or SCV, so the truck won't start.

I've been watching tutorials and guides, but nothing makes sense to me. I have a hard time understanding certain things.

What did I do?

First, a visual inspection. Nothing damaged. I measured the diode components and found no short circuits that I am aware of. (FET transistors and some diodes).

I can already recognize certain sectors of the ECU: I have these voltages: injecting 12V to B+ and (E5-1) IGSW (E5-9) MREL (E5-8) with their negatives in this case in common with E7-7: I have a consumption of 200mA. If I disconnect the IGSW, I have 190mA, which caught my attention since they say it should be 300mA.

How can I really know if the PCV+ suction pump is working? I would really appreciate it.

I have an oscilloscope with a signal generator. or rele-
I am sharing the manuals I am using with you.

thx for help guys! <3

This is WAY over my head so the only help I can think of is contact one of the many ECM repair websites that pop up on a Google search. I wouldn't think they would offer technical advice since they are selling their repair service but, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Good luck with your project!
