Has anyone experienced this and have a solution? Left an overhead light on in my LC yesterday while parked at an airport (about 18 hours or so). :bang: Sucked the battery all the way down. (Optima Yellow). Jumped it off via another car. Didnt cross any wires on the Jumper Cables. Dash is now lit up like a Christmas Tree. (Very similar warnings to when we evidently stretched the abs cable/wiring harness when installing the OLD Man Emu shocks about 1.5 years ago). I've tried to post a picture of the dash. Anyway to reset without going to the stealership? BTW, the "4LO" light is blinking on and off; it is NOT on constantly. Is this a sign of a bigger problem?

Mine did that too last month when the battery went dead. I started it a couple times and then all was well. It scared me for a few minutes though. I ended up buying a new battery. I've had no trouble since.

I'm going to start off by saying you should either 1) Use a DTC reader and obtain the current code or 2) take the vehicle to the dealership.

Now, there is a MacGyver way to reset the DTC codes, but USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Most likely once you reset the code, it will not come back. If it does, it's dealership time!

Follow the reset procedure here. "SST" is simply a piece of wire for this purpose :)

By experience the blinking 4LO isn't necessarily a sign of bigger problems, this group of lights seem to blink/stay on during all types of warnings.
Like OsoCruiser mentioned, they might very well go off on their own.
Good luck and please keep us posted.

Update: Well after (2) days of driving and starting up and turning off, on the third morning the lights were simply gone. No clue why. One thing that was concerning: while the warning lights were on, the LC would NOT engage in 4LO. once the lights went off, it would engage correctly. Strange.

You are so lucky to get to spend so much time in your LC200. 68.5k miles already?!!

BDD,

yep on the 68k miles and should hit 70,000 this week on the way to TN. Am actually mounting my rear tire carrier today (that i bought from Slee, Thanks!) and i hope one day to install an extra capacity fuel tank. At 14-15MPG, i get tired of stopping every 3.5 hours or so............

These lights will often display after a low / flat battery.

The easiest way to get rid of them after you get the battery charged is to turn the 200 off, remove the +ve terminal for 10 - 20 seconds then replace it. This will get rid of the lights and inability to get into low. Works every time.
