Help Adjusting 2012 low beam headlights

Ok I've looked around and all the internet post say put a screw driver into the holes next to the headlight image on the plastic cowl covering. Ok..... That hole leads nowhere. What tf am I doing wrong.

Attached I found an image of the rear. Where exactly does that hole lead.

You are better off sticking a hex socket in the place I marked and crank on it. Works much faster/better.
