just bought my first 'cruiser. i have dreamed of owning one since my early driving days. ive owned a 77 wagoneer and a 77 bronco, and am familiar with fixing and modifying 4x4's. my new vehicle is a 2000 LC with 160k miles. land cruisers of any make are pretty rare around my parts and i wasnt really in the market for a new or used car when i stopped to look at it. it was in pristine condition in and out as far as cosmetics, upholstery, etc. my wife and i drove it and it drove like new. I jokingly said that it they would take 9k(they were asking 11k), we were buying it. To my surprise, she said OK. She liked it as much as I did. I asked the dealer if he'd take 9 cash, he said he would and I was on my way to the bank.
On the way to get the cash I found that it had been dealer maintained since day one. Very well cared for. Then po once had this thing serviced BC he\she thought the gas cap had become more difficult to remove. I was very happily surprised to find how well this vehicle was cared for. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning with his new toy! It will probably be some time before I am able to do any modifications as I'm in the middle of a house renovation, but I look forward to it. I'll be lurking the forums until I have something to contribute. I've been glued to the tablet reading threads here since buying my rig last week. I'll get some pics up as soon as I figure out how to post them.

Nice, is that River Rock Green? If so, that is the best color they ever put on a 100. If not, it doesn't matter anyway. Nice find.
