Hello from NC

Planning on heading up to Maine to see family in July or August...I went looking for a Maine Club and dont see one -is there any up this way familiar with areas in Maine for wheeling?? Im planning on trailering my FJ40 up there and showing my inlaws what their son has done gone and married to

If anyone can point me in the right direction - Id be all ears!

There is no Maine only club, most of us hang out with the NH,VT guys since most of the good wheeling left is in NH.

where abouts in Maine ya headed? there is not a lot of open land anymore anywhere, but there are a few private land owners that run a small wheeling business like http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trails/info/maine_14060/ride_94c0.htm
the further north you head , the better the land use gets.
Been a few years since i've been on the trails, so i cant offer up any local recent trails, but there are a few others here from maine that should know better.

Another option to check out: http://neow.net/forum/ it's the local jeep board, but there are other rig owners there too, Not a whole lot of wheeling/building going on, but there are some who do more than just web wheel there. Check the events page and there may be a run you can get in on when your in the area..

Most of the family lives in New Harbor and we usually stay in Gray. Thanks for the info!

There is a park in Lewiston called Allwheels, its been a couple years since I was there but it was pretty good wheeling
