Hello
Would like to mount 4 Hella Rallye 4000's to the front of my ARB equipped 80. They are a bit large, close to 9" diameter, I'm not interested in LED's as I prefer halogen. The ARB does have 4 mounting tabs, but I would like to keep the lights protected within the bumper itself. I may have to compromise and just go with 2 Euro beams instead of a fog/pencil combination I originally thought.

Curious if anyone has gone this route, and what your solution was.

Thanks

I have a pair on my ARB bar, I ended up drilling new holes about 10mm back on the tabs to get them to fit

I did exactly as Nickolai did on both Cruisers. One has 3000s, the other 4000s but only two. Not sure you'd have a place for a second pair unless willing to risk damage. As his side shot shows, his lights are protected against bumping into things and so are mine. But anywhere else on the bumper and they can get hit or crunched in parking lot situations. These are large enough I drove with one fog and one euro beam for years with separate switches. Later switched to 2 fogs for living up here in the PNW.

Glad this is being brought up again considering I think ARB made a change to the the 80 series deluxe bar in recent years. I could be imagining that though.
After running IPF 968s and ordering some amazon ARB knockoffs that were a waste of time, I finally ordered some Rallye 4000 Euros that I've wanted for years. They should be here in time for wrenching on Saturday. A shim or two and some drilling sounds easy enough.

Yeah, you'll like what you've got coming. Lots of light waaay far away unlike LEDs. I felt the Euro beam was actually surprisingly narrow and spotty. Up close on signs and stuff as you round curves they will create serious night blindness for you, so put the switch in a super easy quick place to use. I put a 100w bulb in mine for a while just to see, and it was insane. Unusably bright. On mounting, I recall slightly bending the tab as well to maximize them being mounted rearward, and I think I had to trim the stone guard along the bottom in order to have them pulled into the ARB so far and still use the guards. I can't run out to look as that Cruiser is 2045 miles away!
