Have a 1FZ that was removed from a 97 LX450 had 350k miles when removed and a suspected/probably rod knock. Still drove but didn't want to chance anything or make it worse. Not sure if it is worth rebuilding but the head seems to be in great shape and overall the motor had no leaks. Was well maintained by a fellow mudder until the knock started and he sold me the entire rig. Could take head off for inspection by a shop as well.
$300 ?OBO?

Transmission is from a lower miles (160k on odo) truck that I got the replacement motor from. It has a bit of scale buildup on it. Ran and drove fine before entire powertrain was pulled from FZJ to replace with a diesel motor. includes torque converter and Tcase

I kept the higher miles trans in because it was cleaner and showed no issues or reason to doubt its condition.

I am not really sure what to ask for these, had planned to keep for parts or rebuild but my next project will be an LS swap when it is time. If my prices are out of line let me know otherwise just make an offer. Any questions then let me know

If you are local and have extra parts there are plenty of things I would trade them for: green rear tailgate, Toyota Landcruiser front grill valance or instead a LX450 passenger side light, Drivers visor, Center Console, overland stuff...
I am looking to get rid of them and make a deal so make an offer. obviously better than scrapping them.

I can put them on a pallet and truck/trailer and deliver them if its convenient and in Western/Central MT

I need a t case however I'm in AZ. My zip is 86314 if you can get a shipping cost. I will need the housing between trans and case also.

I'm the same way. I'd to come see Montana again but it wouldn't be till late spring. That's very generous of you also. What does a non resident elk tag cost?

That's a good question, I think about 4-600??? Might be different if you are guide sponsored vs private?
 
I looked at a rough cost to come up there and it would be well over 600. If you are willing I love to know what shipping would be to 86314 for the t case and the mid housing.
