It's early August and I live in Southern California and the past few days I've been noticing during the day my Land Cruiser has been very sluggish with the startup. My volts read a little lower than normal and it barely cranks over. At night when it's not 100° out I notice it has no problem. Is there a chance it's the heat or it could be some wire that's grounding out and causing a little lost voltage? Thanks for any help in advance!

Please provide more information:

Truck model? Year? 24v or 12V system? Stock electrical system? Modifications to the electrical you have made? Battery condition? Same batteries? Different batteries? AGM or normal wet batteries?

That way we can assist you better.

Ditto. . Shorts not my first suspicion in your case. Does it happen on cold starts during the day,Or just when the engine is really hot

If you have not already, unclamp battery connections and clean battery posts and clamps with wire brush gizmo.
