There's a V8 running in Swanzey!
Not good but it started. Pretty sure
I need to pull the distributer out and move it a tooth.
No vacuum lines on the carb either.
But I'm pumped!

Can't wait,,,,

awesome you are where I was a year ago. I just picked up one of these after the spring meeting and the exhaust smell went away and my milage and power greatly improved

seeing how like me you are on a budget build its a great low cost option for the dizzy

Pretty sure when I put the dizzy back in it was off just a bit. Pretty simple to pull it
back out and turn it a bit. Went thru it when it was apart and made sure all the weights were free
and moving. Did replace the cap and rotor, new coil, new plug wires. Has a new fuel pump, water
pump, new gaskets, front main seal, and carb rebuild.

Been emailing back and forth with Junior. Sent him some pics and he offered some suggestions.
Motor fires right up, purrs like a kitten!!!!
Lets go wheeling!

My brother and I talked about it yesterday, best idea on time we can come up with is about 15 years. It came from CT originally out of a stuffed wagon of some sort, low miles. Always stored in a barn, usually on a tire or a rolly cart. Iam surprised the mice didn't get into it and wreck it! I think the smoke you are seeing is probably just dried out valve seals.
