Headlights - one good and one very weak

I have recently replaced one of my 24V H4 with the same power as the other one (75/70W) and now it is only showing low light as compared to the other one. I switched bulbs side to side and still the same on the one side (side did not change so bulbs are OK).

I also had to replace the fuseable links behind the firewall battery as it had blown and both lights were out. Lights worked fine after that but soon one H4 stopped working, hence the replacement.

Any ideas as to what's up?

One dul light.

Hi, the ones here in Oz. have two headlight fuzes, if one fuze blows one headlight goes dul, check the fuzes.

Check your fuses... been down this road before and it was a bad fuse.

Thanks, where are those fuses? the ones in the kick panel or the ones near the firewall behind one of the batteries?

It was the fuse. I feel like such an idiot not thinking of it myself. Many thanks.
