Blue 60, like they said ^

Heres a picture to clear up any confusion on what the stock setup should look like.

From left: Windshield whiper, rear heat, rear defroster, blank slot (guess my origional owner didn't get all the options), cigaret lighter

Hope this helps

What's wrong with yours? Since they don't get used much, they shouldn't really fail. Have you hooked it directly to the battery - going around the stock wiring - to see if it works?

that's a good point. i didn't actually test right to the battery and i should. thing is that i've plugged my carb fan into the plug just to verify that IT worked correctly, and powered flowed fine ... which means it's the pump. i thought it was weird too, but that's how it goes i guess.

Does anyone know who sells the reservoirs for the headlight sprayer fluid? I would guess any would work if I could mount it?

haha my headlight washer reservoir is split in half almost. but i still fill it and it works till it all spills out. mine also works whether my headlights are on or off though

That's where I got mine...

I got one from James a couple years ago...just needed a little cleaning up...still workin' great.
Excellent price as compared to new OEM...just for fun, check out what $OR wants for one...;-)

I would hesitate buying a used tank. That plastic, at least mine, is BRITTLE.....mine looked fine until I filled it, pressed the lid back on, and it literally spidercracked the whole damn thing.....

I don't think the headlights have to be on, either.

Along similar lines, which reservior is for the rear window sprayer?

the rear washer draws fluid from a pouch reservoir in the rear of the rig. It's located in the driver's side quarter panel...access from the rear cargo area.

Are these the correct washers, i bought a setup from the wreckers today to put on my 60, they came from a car, the tank dosen't fit, but will figure something out, anyone have some pix of a stock install

This is a pix of my HJ-61 headlight washers - stock fitment.

Yours looks a lot bigger than mine - I'm sure you're pleased to hear THAT. :-)

They protrude around 28mm from the bodywork to the tip of the washer and are about 25mm wide - that's about an inch each way from memory - 1 inch = 25.4mm

Note: the elbows ( item # 96 in the SOR pic above) are more than 'just an elbow'.Its a little valve assembly...won't let water thru until some pressure applied.

As you can imagine, two failure modes:
1. gum/rust/crud shut...no flow
2. gum/rust/crud open...constant dribble until tank empty...

As for the 'motor' not working...
good chance 'crud' is in pump; dried out windhield wash solution...
motor & pump does 'unplug' from bottom of tank...
and you can get to item #83 to clean...

Someone parting out a late 84 and 'newer' (hehehe) FJ60/62 may have parts...

( cheez.... 'newer' old rig...hahaha)

Part #96...is that a toyota only part? it's like $30 for that little check valve? I haven't checked but has anyone found one somewhere else?

Thanks
