Hey guys, names Chris. I'll be transferring back to Lemoore around March or so. Looking forward to wheeling with you cats. Hopefully I will be able to get some trail time in between building my buggy and going to comps. We may be heading down for a few weekends before I transfer, so I will keep my eye on here and maybe hook up with ya'll and wheel.

Here's my junk.

Look forward to meeting all of you!

I live in Lemoore (along with Dusty above). Feel free to get in touch with me when you get settled or need help getting settled.

Cool, I appreciate it!! We will definately be heading down there to look around for a new house....not sure where I wanna go yet. I was in Lemoore 3 years ago, and I'm thinking about Hanford. We will see what happens.

How are your snow runs???

Right on, hopefully I will see some of you guys there. I'll be with the Reno crew from Tfab and Torchmate.

My wife isn't going this year, which she is bummed about because she loves this stuff as much as I do. I am thinking about renting a small pop up and dragging it down there with the 40. There are a ton of motorhomes going with us, but I don't like stumbling around crowded motorhome on top of a million people. I have a few things I have to do on the 40 before I go. We are going to use it as a support vehicle. My buggy will be finished for the 2011 race!!

Congrats on your Buggy being done in 2011.

It will be at the 2011 race, that's not when it will be done! Hopefully middle of this year it will be, moving down there and comp season get in the way of everything!

No. If we go, we will be on quads so we can move around quicker. Too far of a trip to haul the 40.

That is true, you don't get places quick without a go fast rig down there. The only reason I'm taking mine is to carry tools and what not for support.

There's about 5-6 of us in Hanford... I'm thinking of going to koh also

I think me and my wifey are considering living in Hanford. I lived in Lemoore off Hanford/Armona with some buddies of mine....3 bachelors, 2 car garage, and 5 hotrods, plus my crawlers....people hated us!! I knew a ton of cats that lived in Hanford, and it seems like it is only getting better...unless I'm wrong, you guys tell me....

im planning on KOH also. Are we going to be able to wheel on sat if we bring our rigs? (the race is on friday right)

As I understand we cant drive our rigs around on race day-only atvs/motorcycles allowed?

Perhaps a last minute entry....

Last year, anybody could've wheeled any day they wanted. It's open OHV land, so "technically" they can't tell anybody they can't wheel. Nobody did of course, it's a courtesy, except to cross the course to get somewhere....which is sketchy! Besides, you wanna be on that course? People get their rigs driven over in that race and I can't wait!! I believe Dave and Jeff may have gotten the permit that will keep people off the course so it will make it official, instead of a courtesy. They will also ask people to stay off course for the side by side race, and the LCQ. IIRC, they asked that if people wanted to wheel down there during the week, to get up at the ass crack of dawn, hit the trail, then get off so people can pre-run without worrying about running over rigs. I think the only rig on course last year was my buddies YJ on Mogs. He broke the night before on Sledge and completely ripped the panhard off the frame. They moved it down to the left of the plaque, and everything was fine.

Motorcycles and Quads are quick down there, but like last year, we packed up everything in the rigs and drove around from spot to spot. If you've never been to the Hammers, ask around and follow the dust, and the spot to be is probably going to be Sledge again. You can shoot back and forth across the lakebed to different spots and not interfere with the course....that being said, who knows how they are gonna map the course this year!

I wish I could watch this year, but I will be in the pits for the most part. We are in the process of tearing my buddies buggy down to the chassis and putting it back together, we love last minute stuff!!!
