Going to get a Hellroaring dual battery set up installed, as well as some maint items. Leaving sylva at 3am and plan to be there all day. So if anyone is in the area come on by.

lets see some pics. i have not seen your name for the whee ride. i know your ready i seen some sliders in a pic from the boil. at least you can come up sat on the mosses ck side (just gravel)

our internet at home is down- I have pics and the guys at ACC are great. The attention to detail and making sure everything is correct really impressed me. They have made a regular customer in me, (although the 6.5 hour round trip drive is a killer) I will get pics uploaded as soon as I can. We were planning on coming up for the day. I will get with you around that time.

Ran into Adam at ACC on Saturday afternoon. They were just about done when I got there. Everything looked nice an tidy with the dual batt install. That is one sweet looking 60!

Hoping Adam makes the Whee trip too.

Ain;t that the truth, Adam;s rig shines in every way. Now he will have the juice to run lights to admire it at night, all night! Way to go. Adam give me a day or two notice next trip down to ACC may take off work and join you on the ride to get to know the folks at ACC. Doc:beer:

Pics as promised

Here you go- I cant tell how happy I am with this setup I no longer have a hot start issue, I can listen to the radio with all my lights on for hours without fear, My clutch no longer leaks, my oil pan no longer leaks, I have a true voilt meter that monitors whole system with truck running and aux battery when truck is off. If you are looking for quality work give these guys a call they will treat you right.

I will have no grounding issues

Artistic shop plug

They fit perfectly with no modification other than moving coolant overflow

I am a purist and believe in keeping them all toyota but this one had me second guessing myself when I heard it run.

aux fuse with cover on- all marine grade hardware

Carb fan now wired as an auxilary fan that kicks on whenever the truck gets hotter than 180 degrees and runs after truck is off until 180 degrees- when running stays at about 190- when before it would go up to 210- I have never been so happy to hear that fan come on when I walk away after driving

Congrats! Looks very familiar... even that guy in the first pic! :grinpimp:

They do great work!

Looks good! Want to do the same thing to my 60. Good to know there's someone out there who could help me out...

So was the carb fan the issue with your hot starting issue...or did you wrap the fuel line to help it out?

I wrapped the fuel line first and it made no difference, so yeah the carb fan was the key, the truck starts perfect now.

sounds like a plan Doc. I am currently having Jim at SROR build me a rear bumper. So once my bank recovers from that I will have the ACC guys putting a snorkel on. I just found out I am having surgery the week before the weekend you guys will be up there, I would much rather be hanging with you guys.

Good luck with the surgery, and yeah we will have to motor on down to hot lanta some time to check out the shop , maybe stop and have lunch with Bob on the way. Sounds better and better every time I think about it. Cool and get better quick.:cheers:

Adam
Did they supply the aux fuse panel or did you pick it up somewhere else. I looked all over asheville for one the other day when i was wiring up a buddys lights on his truck.
