head unit upgrade, confused about dimensions

I have a 2000 model with a stock headunit that looks like this:

I've found some headunits that are specific replacements for the stock unit without facia adapters, however, the measurements dont add up
i've done some digging and found this one which is narrower than mine and looks approx the right size (100x200)

my wider headunit is a jap import
does anyone know where this narrower trim is from? i.e. is it from USA market only
I'd probably need to get my hands on one of these to do a clean head unit conversion
also, would anyone happen to know part number?

It should be the standard "double din" stereo opening. No fascia piece needed. You can use a write harness adapter so you don't have to cut wires.

its not a standard double din
Standard is 178x98mm

the china universal ones are 178x100mm

the actual width of the top pic is 203x101mm
...hence this thread

Looks like you need the adapter that early LX470's need. Your stereo looks more like what the LX's get compared to the LC 100's here.

Well from what I understand in Japan they didn't have the Lexus brand when your truck was made. Seems like your import shares some interior features with the Cygnus. Stereo at least.
