I blew the head gasket in my '90 62 and am going to spend the next couple of days pulling it apart and fixing it. I have the OEM manual and follow directions well (I'm married) but I'm sure there are tricks that I'm not aware of. If anyone is interested in getting out of the house and would like to help, I'd appreciate it. Further, I could even be talked into trading some professional carpet cleaning for some significant assistance. I'm in Apex, near the intersection of 64 and Old Raleigh Road.

Thanks in advance,
Terry Pratt

Let me know if you need any help I am in Cary, and currently working on 80 head gasket repair. I recently completed a 2f head gasket repair and will lend any knowledge or assistance if you need it.

Mental note:

when using a borrowed leak down gauge, make sure it works. Going to buy one today. Oh yeah and buy an air ratchet.

Hi Terry,

If you're still needing help this weekend, I'm in Apex and can come by. Send me a PM and we can discuss. I don't have experience with head gaskets, but have turned a wrench once or twice.
