Have a set of Original Toyota headlight modules from HDJ81 so they are RHD Lens pattern, left over after converting to eCode lights.

Mine passed inspection w/ the JDM lights. I adjusted them to project where they should. I like the built in fogs on the JDM's. Here's hoping I'm not stopped.

Yeah, that's probably where these should go, maybe keep the chrome trim and perhaps the bulbs. Even selling them to someone in the UK or New Zealand it's probably not worth the time and effort. Realistically they can't be used just for off-road as you still have to get off the road in the first place and you'll need eCode lights to get there.

BTW, these new eCode lights on Low Beam don't seem all that great, but I'm sure that's a topic that has been discussed on this forum at length over the years. A mechanic friend told me that hooking larger guage wire directly to them via a relay will give them much better current and they will work much better that way.

I noticed that mine were a lot brighter when I did the DRL using two relays in mine (one for each light). However, at the same time I had just installed new Hellas, so it is hard to say. Whatever the case, as long as the motor is running, the lights have juice direct from the battery.
