Hello,
I own a 02' AUS HDJ79R and recently came into possession of a new tail harness PN# 82162-60M82, I believe to suit a VDJ79 with a tub.
I'm putting on a new tray at the moment and thought I'd replace my harness as the old one has been destroyed by previous owners.
The subtank gauge isn't working with the new loom.
The left most pin on the new harness for the gauge plug is a brown wire
The plug going into the rear of the cab is a 11 pin waterproof connector 90980–11239
The brown wire goes to pin 7, which on the old harness is a red wire with black stripe
On the original harness, the left most connector of the fuel gauge goes to earth - I'll have to modify the new harness to move this to an earth.
I'm curious as to what the original pin 7 (red/black wire) is for?
I've been unable to find a pinout for the connector on the rear of the cab.
