i have a 2001 GXL 100 series 1hd-fte. my problem/s is this- the hazards wont work. ive checked all fuses and relays, disconnected the ARB front bar lights and still nothing- normal indicator are fine.
When i bought the truck they were working fine- i then removed the GPS unit (aftermarket) along with ALOT of radio, gps and GPS speaker and two way radio wires in the dash. but nothing was cut. the only cuts i made were the power wires but this went directly to the unit. rejoined using solder.
BUT i did do the 7pin mod using the cut method and did not unpick the terminal as i did not have a driver small enough. anyway, that was a success. but since then i have no hazards. i cant be sure though as i only tested them a few days later when i needed them. does anyone know what it could be? i tested the switch as well and i have continuity throughout. but.... i could not find power coming the the switch via the harness??
the 2nd issue is that the power mirrors wont work. i adjusted them and while doing the 2nd mirror it just stopped and i have no power there either....
everything else works just fine on the cruiser.
