Has anyone swap a 15B or 15B-T into BJ 40 series

Greeting,
This will be an interesting topic and helpful one. Considering, but haven't see any done on Mud. If you've done one let me know how it went. Such as install, was it bolt or custom fab, any part that need to be change, and will it bolt onto a H55 tranny.

Vasalcorp and others who posted in that thread have swapped 14B and 15Bs into 40s. Becausae of parts availibility around my location I ended up swapping in a 1HZ. I would have gone with either a 1HZ or a 1HD-T where I live.

Someone here in Australia posted up their engine conversion, 14bt into a bj40, think it was 'James Witham'? That was last year.

I installed a 14B-T into my BJ42 late last year, it pretty much bolted straight up without any major fabrication work needed, however there was (as with any engine conversion) alot of smaller hurdles to overcome. I can't imagine a 15B conversion being much different from a 14B as it is the same block. If you would like any details fell free to P.M. me.

15B-FTE is electronically controlled. 15B, B-F and B-FT are all mechanically governed. 15B-FT is the one you want, factory turbo and 16V
