Hard to Start in the Cold (1 Viewer)

None of you have seen cold until you have lived up here. It gets cold and stays that way. It also stays dark so that just adds to it. As for starting we winterize using engine block or oil pan heaters and a battery blanket. I use an aftermarket circulation tank that keeps the oil warm enough to make the difference. Also using a lighter weight oil should help as well. Of course that means that you have to plug your piggy in at night, but that doesn't appeal to some. It's just a way of life up here. Just my .02
 
Just pump her a lilttle while! Eventually she will start, mine starts ever 4TH or 5TH time!
