How I spent the morning, watching other people work. A draftsmans life is not always spent with ones nose to the office grindstone.
So far so good, it's all fitting :) Now if only the damn s***hawks (seagulls) would bugger off.

Lots of cable lying around there. If you ever come across a 240V 30 amp (10-12GAW) 3 conductor cable going to the garbage let me know. When I worked at the mill, they use to throw out tons of cable. A 100' cable would get a nick out of it, off it would go to the garbage bin. Maybe things being what they are, they don't waste stuff like that any more.

Well maybe not, that's how I picked up the Hobart 150. The guys at the factory took off the plug because they had buggered it. They never got around to getting another plug. It also needed some parts for the trigger (about $20 worth). Bosses decided it was garbage and they needed a new mig. Neighbour brought it home and gave it to me for a couple cases of beer. :)

I just make sure that what I have designed and drawn gets installed as it's shown on the drawings, no control over steel and consumable supplies sorry.
I did trade beer for steel down at Empire Iron works in Tillbury once, they seemed quite happy with the transaction.
