Hi All,

Well, about a year ago I made a stupid mistake and traded in my 2002 100 on a 2008 Ford F250; not long after, I traded the F250 on a 2007 Volvo XC90 V8 that I love, yet I still missed that rock-solid tank-like feel that LCs have.

My girlfriend had a Scion xA that had worn out its welcome. She wanted something larger & safer to haul our 2 young sons around in.

So...

She gets the keys to the XC90 as her new daily driver...

And I scooped up a 99 LC100, forest green, 158k miles, 1 owner, always dealer serviced with records to prove it! Got it for $10g & am very happy with the deal.

She's not perfect- a little interior trim wear, a few nicks & scratches here & there- but for a 14-yr old truck it is in remarkably great shape; the leather may be in better condition than my 2002! All stock, 3rd row, rear air, moonroof, no nav or hitch (both pluses in my book). Michelin LTXs (stock size) almost brand new. Has locking rear differential!

Feels great to be a 100 owner again, and I don't even have a payment now so this one is actually mine and not the bank's!

Good to hear! I am on my first Hundy as of March this year, a 98, having admired them for years. Stock vehicle too and could not be happier.

Welcome back. Sounds like you got a great deal. Great color. Pics please.

Pics coming today

I'm actually excited to run errands today & put a few miles on it :D

Very nice purchase. Especially considering the provenance. When was the last time the T-Belt was replaced?

T-belt was done in 05/2008 just after 90k miles; I'll put a new one in around 180k, probably late 2014-ish.

Haven't forgotten pics, just been busy with the kids today...going to go snap a few here in just a minute.

Welcome....

Not a bad idea, though not belonging to a club never stopped me from exploring some of the amazing off-road opportunities AZ has to offer!

My 02 LC100 saw action on Broken Arrow & Rattlesnake Gulch in Sedona, 4Peaks, Sunflower Mine, and many others.

Looking forward to getting back to LC exploring as a hobby
