I purchased my FJ on October 29th 2006. Now a year later a lot has changed, made a ton of new friends and picked up a new hobby.

This past weekend I went camping with some of those new friends. While there, I took a picture of the FJ in a spot where I took a "before" picture. So here they are the "Before and After"

I just past a year too, Oct 18.
I have never had so much fun with a vehicle, like I do with the FJ.
What you call a hobby I would consider more of an obsession. Off roading ,camping, club get togethers/ trail runs, new mods and these forums, it's like having a really really fun second job :D

I gotta admit the disease is strong. I cant stop the progression. Its spreading.... but it feels so good. good times.
So whats up with that roof rack? Is that a custom set up? I am looking to do something with mine. Any tips?

Funny, but I thought I was looking at mine (same color), after installing the 2" lift kit on the front. I like the front bumper - is that a Road Armor?

BTW, doesn't look like anything was done to the rack, just looks like something is on it and strapped down...

ARB bumper. Forgot the flash on that shot. Still need a winch. The roof rack is stock and you are right. The dogs' kennels are strapped up there.

Time fly when you have fun!
I too celebrated one year of fun not too long ago...

I can't believe he said "egg on wheels". What an insult to this great vehicle!

Few weeks ago we went to Morris Mountain and wheeled with a bunch of Jeeps. They were impressed with the FJC but insisted on calling it "Egg on Wheels". I don't mind the nickname but my wife agrees with you.

I'm glad she does!

Over a year old here as well! Lovin every minute of it!

I consider it to be in its teething years...the stock tires are getting bald and it's new teeth should be in soon!:D No body damage, yet some very nice customer installed striping. Some battle scars to all four wheels, but no broken bones yet. No dislocated arms, and all this on the cheapest formula I can find!

Can you tell I have a baby due any day now???
