As some may know last weekend Handala/Doc/Tony/Tom & myself helped with the work on handala's rig. Replaced or fixed were front diff, parking brake shoes replaced & adjusted. Soon to come will be a 4" Rough Country lift....& some 34"'s on loan.

Below are pics from this last weekend.

We did hijack that previous thread!...sorry!:whoops:

Just hope I get the shocks on time before the ride, they need to be shipped from somewhere (not in stock!)...we'll see...

otherwise, hard at work trying to repair my hard top...way too much rust so doin' some cutting and welding...looks like might make it on time

now I understand all this excitement before a ride...

Lash, you out there!?
Tried to call you...PM me when you can

Any word yet on the lift kit?

Lash got the springs, rest is somewhere on the way....the guy said they were shipped on thursday...

What shackles & spring pins did you get?

none...I'll upgrade some other time...in the meantime, soaking up the old ones in some Kroil oil to make life easier.
Side panels and weather stripping on...tomorrow, install the fiberglass top!

Hey Sani, you gonna have the springs on before the ride? Make sure you get enough bushings to replace the ones on the frame! They don't come with the kit.

Later,

Springs, yes....shocks, not here yet. The guy said the bushings come with the kit (or at least I think he did)...can I get them somewhere local if they're not.

BH, not sure where gonna do the work, gotta have the stuff first! :frown:

If no lift, will have to go Diamond 1 with lots of Beer:beer:

well, the lift kit is here...U bolts, bushings and all...the reason I just got it now is that it was delivered to the house infront of mine 3 days ago, but the dumb #$@% who lives there could not figure out who ordered shocks for their truck (you would think the truck if pieces infront of her house would have been a hint!)...anyway, what now!? should i start trying to put this together in my garage or what!

Get your stupid neighbor to come over and start wrenchin for you!

I say wheel it like it is. I can't come help tonight or tomorrow night. Sure would suck to get almost finished. You will have pleanty of fun just like it is. JMHO

Got my front springs off and working on installing the new ones, she'll be done by the morning!!!

:bounce: can't wait 'till this weekend

I forgot you were used to no sleep. Heck, no problem for you. You will have 6 hours to sleep on the way to TX. You will probably wheel all day Saturday and through the night till Sunday PM.

You need my tires? When you gonna come get them?

it's midnight and the front is lifted!!...looks good even with 31's.
I don't think the neighbors will appreciate me hammering away through the night, so i'll do the rear tomorrow.

I'll pick your tires up sometime tomorrow evening...maybe bring the cruzer over and switch them there if you have a few minutes..

Did I mention I can's wait 'till the weekend :bounce:

WAY TO GO SANI!

Kewl.

Call me today so we can set it up.

I only have 4. Brian could probably loan you one of his for a spare.
