I'm having some issues....ok some SERIOUS issues.
First...just closed on a new house yesterday...that's good news.
Bad news...wife is having some issues with the pregnancy. Thats a whole long story and won't know much about what can/can't be done until later.
We've been sharing a car since she's off for the summer but we have no idea what's going to happen when she sees the sergon on tuesday.
That gets me to my main issue. I have my chevy engine in and ready to assembeled. Except for ditching my block hugger headers and ordering some ram horns and a few piddly items i'm ready to install her
The big issue here is...i can't weld!!! Well i can bird turd but i don't trust my bird turding for engine mounts.
I've got all the crap to make scab plates. I'm pretty sure i've got the mounts i want to use for the rear brace and i've got the front mounts and mount brackets.
All i really need is a helping hand to position the engine in her final resting spot and weld in the brackets.
I've got the welder, welding mask (bring your own gloves..i have gloves but they are not welding gloves)
I'll also supply beer and eats to anyone that is free tonight and/or tomorrow until about 2pm. Location in Piedmont.
I usually have my dad do my welding but he's out of town this weekend.
And whoever comes can have my SBC block hugger headers before i throw them to the ground!!!
