Hi All,
My 21 year old Son is traveling with 4 friends in my 2007 LX470 and might be stranded soon if this problem becomes more serious. I've narrowed it down to either the MAF being dirty or the Transmission Gear Position sensor. Anyhow if we can't get this sorted by having him check some of the electrical connections including the ECU connections and cleaning the MAF sensor he might need to limp it/tow into a shop. Leaving Montana today with goal of Jackson Hole and then onto Colorado.
Occasional stalling during deceleration. Ocassional difficulty starting. Just returned from SEA to Bend OR last week and it was running great.
I doubt he can make it to Cruiser Outfitters in UT so if anyone knows of a shop that might be able to get them in we'd be thankful.
Cheers,
Spookfish
