Halloween, How many kids did you get?

SO I was tottaly surpised, and disapointed, this is our first year in the new house. we have a whole town house development next door to us with lots of kids, and not a Single kid came by.
at my last house it was always slowing down, but the neighborhoods kids were getting older, I really expected a few , even one,
I know everyone is more security minded these days, but I used to take the kids around door to door, even dressed up our great dane in a costume, that was fun lol
So how many kids did you have last night, and do you notice a drop off from years past?

maybe the word is out that your that strange guy that drive that big 4wd thing on the wrong side while emmiting strange rattling sounds and black smoke causing women and children to run and hide.
traffic was down at our place too, no one till 7pm then real scary teenagers till 9pm, about 14 total. now i have to eat all the leftover candies.

we got about 30. res neighborhood though so lots get brought in! When we lived in view royal beside a townhouse complex we got 150-200 kids each year! That was tough on the old candy supply!

my parents place...we havent gotten 1 kid in all 8 yrs that i have lived there, went to my sisters place in crofton and some came up there

We got just over 100 kids. We were prepared for near 300 so I was giving the candy out by handfulls. It was a miserable foggy and rainy night. Kept the roudies out of the park behind the house though. Only one egg this year. I was ready with my own supply of eggs and tomatoes to toss back but the little bugger took off too quick. Usually they stick around to toss a few more. My neighbour didn't even set off any garbage bag acetalyne bombs this year. So there wasn't much fun.

Well it is Guy Fawkes night tonight, ( gunpowder treason and plot etc...)

So it's still a good night(week) for bonfires/blowing s*** up....



Some dude trying to blow up parliament, sounds like a good reason for piss up to me...
