H55f issue shifting into 1st (1 Viewer)

I am having trouble shifting into 1st, specifically I need to pull “up” on the shifter (as you do to get into R on some transmissions). I also need to do so to get into R. Other than that, the transmission shifts well. This occurs no matter how long I “wait” in neutral.

Any ideas as to what could be wrong? Thanks.

I would suggest changing part number 33505-60010, the seat at the base of the shifter if you are having to lift the shift lever. Cheap part and not a major tear down to do.
