I should add that it is for a gas FJ40 ( not diesel) and will be mated with a 3-speed transfer case, so a 16 spline.

I have been flip flopping between an Orion case or H41. If I were to find a good deal on an H41 I may go down that route.

The H41 is a better overall choicer than a 3-speed with an Orion. If you decide to go with the Orion either way, then I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND swapping over to an H42 at the same time. That way you can always swap in an H41 after the fact without making any mods.
We have fully built Orions and H42 transmissions on hand. We can build you an H41 with all new gears as well but that option is not "cheap".

I have one in So Cal if you want it. I am looking to clear space in garage and was searching the forum for pricing prior to listing. Its out of an Aus spec 1976 fj55. If you want it let me know I will be posting it for sale in the coming days if I don't hear from you, and deciding on a price in the meanwhile.
