H41 Transfer Case Bearings from a Terrain Tamer kit (TK5 – labeled LandCruiser Transfer Kit 60/75/HZJ75 10/85+) NOTE: While Terrain Tamer lists this kit for the FJ60, it is NOT the kit for use with the H42 model transmission/transfer case, but for the H41 model transmission/transfer case.

All bearings are Koyo brand and new/unopened:

38VP5243 (2003 12) 2-available
BT1112 (0311)
6207YR6C3 70518 (M0310) 2-available
TR070902 PZ 70424 (B0308)
30307JR-4 (I0212)

These are most of the bearings needed for a complete overhaul.

So are these transfercase brgs or transmission brgs or both? And how are these different from h42 bearings? I ask because I'm putting h41 gears (from an early h41) into an h42 case (splitcase tranny).

These are only for the Transfer Case. The Transmission requires different sizes/types of bearings. And, the H41/H42 bearings/gears are different. Once you have the H42 transfer case apart and see the H41 transfer case bearings...the light comes on. When I checked my transmission it was OK, so I just cleaned and left the gears and bearings alone, but changed all the gaskets and seals. For my transfer case, which was leaking badly, gaskets and seals were the primary concern. I only changed one or two bearings, but not because there appeared to be a problem. I purchased this kit for the transfer case because it had the seals and gaskets, which did fit. However, only one or two bearings were a match - and after research, I found that they had it labeled wrong on one of the sites, which should have specified the transmission/transfer case types and not the Land Cruiser "Model" (FJ60). Anyway, since I really didn't need the bearings, I did not pursue it, but now have them and don't need them, but know someone does.

Oh yes, most of the transmission and transfer case bearings must be pressed on and off...FYI.
