GX550 vibration issue (1 Viewer)

Over on the GX550 group on Facebook there's lots of threads about a vibration issue on the GX550, specifically the OT/OT+. Some folks have had Lexus buy back their ride under lemon laws. I was just wondering if anyone here has experienced this. Also, does it show up on the LC250?

The OT/OT+ have the larger and more aggressive Toyo tires...I'm guessing they made sure the tires were mounted and force balanced correctly?

I noticed on a few of my tires that the tire stem did not have the red dot opposite of it (meaning the yellow dot is right under the tire valve). For those that aren't aware, new tires come with two colored dots. One yellow and one red...they are to to help facilitate balancing the tire by indicating the part of the tire that should be counterbalanced with the weight of the valve stem and TPMS (i.e., red dot).

To date, I haven't noticed any vibration issues on mine.

I had the dealership road force balance my tires and it fixed my issue. OT+ with Toyos

No issues with the wife’s 550.

 

[turbo8]

No issues even at 85+mph

 

[NY2LA]

No vibration issue. Just road noise coming through the poorly insulated panels.
