Hi Haffi (694598X?)

I have never been to Iceland .. just some crazy idea I was throwing out to my fiancee. The idea of exporting a few Lexii, and having them built, and returned. Seeing them in person would be a blast though. Another idea I should look into would be flying in, and returning with the trucks .. whether NA vehicles to begin with, or a 120/100 that we could import without much hassle. The former just seems like it would be less paperwork, which would be our only concern. Might be a cool trip, and a great chance to be involved in the build somehow, if only to be there on the sidelines watching things evolve.

Is your HDJ81 built ?

35" for the VX 120 is iskr. 930.000 = 13.088 usd.

38" for the 100 is iskr. 1.930.000 = 27.057 usd.
35" for the 100 is iskr. 1.090.000 = 15.281 usd.

Nice truck Haffi!

Do you have a laptop and GPS mounted like some of the guys there do? Climb any glaciers this winter?

Thanks for the prices, btw, I hadn't looked into them yet. :)

No glaciers for me in this truck, to small tires and no lockers. No gps or laptop, just a VHF radio and MNT mobile phone.

I had all that stuff in my 62. But the 62 died in a crash last spring ;(

If you check arctictrucks.com you will find better infos on the mods. But no prices, you can find them on the icelandic page.

Thanks .... and yeah, I saw your crashed cruiser on your photo page. :frown: Sorry about that man.

Yeah, I've been fascinated by Arctic Trucks for probably ten years .. and check back every few months.

is there any way to just by the fender flares that they use? I don't think I've seen them anywhere offered for sale before. I think many builders are completely capable of the suspension and lift issues, the body work seems like the key to the complete "look" and drool factor for the arctic trucks.

Man that Arctic Truck has been a fantasy of mine for YEARS. Tyler if you ever get any info on importing them in..let me know. The "Prado" (or GX470) with 35's is just what I need.
