I need some help fighting the leaning of the GX470.

'08 GX470 with KDSS
OEM air shocks, 0 lift [have to have it, since I tow]
BILSTEIN B6 4600

~=1.5" lean to the left [i.e. passenger side is higher]
I can adjust ride height using the left height sensor, but it equally adjusts height for both sides. The right height sensor does absolutely nothing, however, on the bench it tests perfectly to the Toyota specs. Other than this, the ride height works fine [lift and lower both sides].
I am starting to think that the solenoid valve or ECU could be defective but I wanted to hear any other ideas.

PS: I did think about KDSS lean, but it is leaning the other way.

Did this just start randomly?

Btw, you have air springs not shocks, in the rear.

No KDSS lights?

It’s been going on for a while, I finally decided to do something about it.

On the rear I have air springs and shocks (bilstein).

KDSS light would go on from time to time, and then go of but it mostly offf. Also been going on for a while.

Are you able to scan for the codes the KDSS system is giving you? Have you inspected the solenoids and the accumulators for corrosion? I had an intermittent KDSS light, water bed handling, and slight lean before the KDSS light eventually became permanent. I inspected the connector going into the solenoid housing and it was completely filled with powdered rust.

KDSS solenoid or air ride solenoid? I am in California, so I would not expect rust [have not found any yet].

It gives a generic KDSS code that is nothing specific and I have not connected to Techstream yet. I do plan to take the air ride solenoid out and inspect it, as well as clean air ride canister

most likely your body mount(s) have collapsed. You can measure the height of them to confirm. I have this same issue. You can either shim it or get new ones

I am having some similar behavior, and am at a loss. I am non-KDSS, on air suspension, no error codes in techstream. I can see the live read out that the passenger height sensor is ~.75" higher than the driver in any position. I have tried shimming the drivers sensor and I can see the differential increase in techstream, but it does nothing to correct the difference.

Does anyone know the logic of the balancing solenoid or how that part works?

Level sensor adjustment is mechanical, and it's on the level sensor on each side.
correct @Poop Bubbles, I have tried shimming it and I can see the differential increase in techstream (my sensors are working as expected), but there is no change to how level it sits (~.75"-1" lower on driver side)

I had a similar 1.5” left lean and after installing new front coilovers my lean has been mitigated in the front with the year still leaning by 1”, likely due to my airbags. Once I swap those out I imagine it should disappear.
