Hello all.
Today while driving to work my 06' GX470 just died. The check engine light came on and the car died. I coasted to a stop and tried to turn it on but it would just crank and not turn over.

Scanned the code and got P0335 - crank position sensor. I made my way to a Napa and bought a new crank sensor and the problem persists. The car will crank, but not turn over.

Any ideas???

Thanks

Broken timing belt?
Never mind. Was thinking cam position sensor.

The timing belt was done in Oct and I haven't had any issues with it since to indicate a slipped tooth or other related issue.

There was not rough idle or loss of power before it died either.

The cable might not be routed properly during timing belt change. Most of the time its wiring issue and not sensor issue.

It's 111* outside right now so I'm holding off on tearing into her, but I'm hoping you're right. Wires are easier to repair then interference engines if they slipped or tore a timing belt.

All the same, this is enough to break a fella's heart.
