GWNF trails?

[stuck in GA]

What do I type in as a destination on mapquest to get to the trails from farmville? I really want to go but I don't want to spend half of the day finding the trails. Any info? I checked the website and they have maps of the actual park but not a destination location to type in on mapquest.

I live in Harrisonburg and have frequented the trails in GWNF at times. The local Forest Rangers office offers toppo maps if interested.

Just get the Mapquest to Harrisonburg then head out of town on 33 west. Once you get into the hills you'll start seeing trail heads.

If you're going to do Dry River, take someone like Chuck with you, or you'll likely get turned around and take forever to find your way back out.

yeah all you gotta do is find route 33 east. Off there, after you enter GWNF (theres a sign) you will see the trails. Most of the ones you can see from the road are on the left.
