First of all,.. uncooked pork,.. not that bad!... couldn't find monkey on a stick though wanted to try.

Had some questionable "food items" in SE Asia... but I was so drunk on the local beer (Beer Lao: brewed by a german brewmeister) that I didn't care and had seconds! (there were small claws and faces looking up at me.. all I remember... probably suppressing).

Looking forward to your return and I will definitely try and be there if I'm in country.
