Me, the boy, and his momma are headin' down to Gulf Shores next week. Any suggestions on cool stuff to do if we get tired of the beach?

Well you can stop by my place to see the lack of my build-up. I will be there the 11th-14th.

I wish I would have remembered you were there. I was out at Ft. Morgan a week ago. Maybe next time.

Later,

I'm still in Auburn at the moment Jeff. I haven't been home in about a month and a half. I'll just be home then because of the break between summer and fall semester. Yeah there is always next time.

You can also come over to Mobile and tour the Battleship or some of the museums here.

Check out Zeeks Marina. It is a great restaurant.

And if you do head to p'cola be sure to grab a lotto ticket... might be the only way to pay for the gas on the ride home... lol

Also, check out the Wharf in Orange Beach. I know how Andrew likes to party. There are several restaurants there too. There is also a water park in Gulf Shores too.

Eat at Tin Top restaurant in Bon Secour. Best meal on the Redneck Riviera.

Tin Top

Now how the heck do you know about the Tin Top? That's our little secret. Can't be lettin' no tourists ruin our good eating spot.

There is also on in Orange Beach called Cosmos that is supposed to be dern good. Apparently their website isn't working, but you can google it and get directions.

Oh and by the way Cam, I am only about 15 min from where y'all are staying.

Caleb, you've eaten at Cosmos, you know it's gooooood.

I'm not a smart man, but I do know good food.

x2 on the Naval Museum.

Another good place to eat is Tacky Jack's for breakfast. If you've never been to Ft. Morgan, and have kids, that's a pretty cool place to take them.

Take the family to the new "Hangout" on the public beach in Gulf Shores. Brand new place, open air, food, cold beer, and an outdoor play area depending on how old the kiddies are the may enjoy. Went there with the boys for the first time last month and we had a good time. Great "view" also..... of many different things...

Tacky Jack's

Farmers Omelet YUM!

Caleb-what's that local place in Ornage Beach on the back road-Doc's? Great place to eat, also is the Steamer still open in dowtown? They had great steamed seafood.

Don't forget about Put Put!

Yeah Doc's is still there. Not sure on the Steamer - haven't been that way in a while.

The last few times I have been to Doc's I didn't think it was as good as it use to be. But that was a couple of years ago.

The mexican place in Perdido is pretty good. Vallarta I think is the name.
