With Christmas right around the corner and its that time of the year to indulge yourself and buy a little!!!

We, FloridaFJ80, ALVARO, and 80Jay, have a contact who makes some really awesome Rear Bumper Carriers with Swing-Out Tire and Jerry Can Carriers. Comes with D-Ring Hooks and Center Hitch.

We want to extend this great contact to our Fellow Mudders. The bumpers are made in Bogota, Colombia. The quality is just a good as any ARB product, if not better. Check out the pictures for yourself.

If there is enough interest then we can setup a Group Buy and Import these into the states. They would first come into the states via Miami and they would be either shipped from Naples or Weston. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to contact us via PM or call me at 321-206-4850.

The price for these bumpers are set at $1500USD plus shipping from the USA. Minimum Orders is set to 4.

We also have Sliders with a Transfer Case Skid Plate See pics in next post. Prices for the Sliders are set at $650USD plus shipping.

This looks very good indeed. I'm not yet on the market for that kind of gear, but I'd be tempted.
Now I'm wondering how people around here would consider sending (a lot of) money to get something from a third country whose reputation, like it or not, is sometimes a little bit dodgy. In short: who would be the guarantor in case something turns bad and the money evaporates and the bumper gets lost?
I don't mean to spoil the party and to sound offensive at all to Colombians or yourself, but I think these worries might come to the mind of any sensible buyer, no?

GROLAR - That is a great question, and I am glad you brought it up. We are made up of 3 people (myself, ALVARO, and 80JAY) and are all active on MUD, we are not new members who signed up to sell something. ALVARO is in charge of placing the order and sending all bumpers to me(floridafj80 - Frank) in Cartagena. Then I will be putting the bumpers in a container where 80Jay (Jason), who lives in Naples, would be receiving them in MIAMI. 80Jay would then be shipping all the orders to their respective buyers.

The money will be sent via PAYPAL to either 80Jay's account or mine. You only need to put up 50% of the order and the rest once the merchandise is in the states.

If you have any more question please dont hesitate to ask us.

They Look Good. My only .02 is that the price difference compared to US vendors...(Slee, HannaQuality, SOR...) be at least 10-20% lower....Tough to do when you are taking shipping and import costs....

Why lower? well you would assume the labor cost to be much cheaper in old Colombia....

x2. and the real dealmaker could be something in the low 1,000s.

Well when compared to US vendors, you are getting more than what you pay for. You are getting a FULL Rear bumper with all the toys, Tire Carrier and Jerry Can holders. Some Rear bumpers start at 1500 and you then have to pay extra for each accessory. While here your getting everything for the same price. Check out the other vendors prices and make your comparisons. Keep in mind with ours you can customize your bumper to your liking.

Quick question...will all the mounting hardware come with the bumpers or sliders. Also, If I get the sliders, I would need them a '94...would that pose a problem?

Yes, products come with all the mounting hardware, they are completely bolt on. Pics are of my 94 with after market exhaust system (no cat), however I guess your concern is regarding the catalizer, sliders are also available for cruisers with cats.

Regards,

Alvaro.

That's what I needed to know. THanks!

I have a few questions :)

1. is there a catalytic converter guard for the sliders?
2. does the rear bumper required the cutting the frame?
3. can the spare carrier and fuel can carrier be removed? customized for different fuel cans?
4. Is there any provisions to mount aux tail lights (to suppliment tail light obstruction)?
5. Does the bumper have rear wing support to the frame ( I cannot tell from the pictures)
6. Does the rear bumper work with OEM mud flaps?
7. How about rear rocker panel guards?
8. How about a receiver (2x2") hitch?

Thanks! I am definitely interested.

Thank you for your interest, here we go:

1. Yes, there's a version of the sliders with cat protection.
2. No cutting, completely bolt on.
3. Yes, both carriers can be easily removed, just a pin and a big nut and they are out. Yes they can be customized.
4. Not really, we'll think about it.
5. Yes it has.
6. Most of it can be customized, so yes we can make a version OEM mud flap compatible.
7. Again, mosf of it can be customized, we can make something for rear rocker panels.
8. Can be done.

Thank

Looks good. Money is bit tight right now for the holidays. Will the offer last a while?
