I am doing a group purchase of Digital Voltage meters. Actual cost is TBD, but estimate is very close to $45 for a red one, and $55 for a blue one, shipped. Compared to "list price," if you were to purchase one of these today, your cost would be more like $58 for a red one, and $68 for a blue one, including shipping, so this should net to about a $12-$13 savings.
Here is more info on the meters: DATEL DC Voltmeters
Part number for red one: DMS-20PC-0-DCM
Part number for blue one: DMS-20PC-0-DCM-B
Here's how this will work:
1. Post up that you're interested, and how many, and in what color (red or blue). Deadline is PAST! NO MO!! FINITO!
2. I will then contact Datel, with our quantities, and get a final bottom line price.
3. I will then confirm the actual price and post that up here, and you have the weekend to send me the funds.
4. On Monday, after everyone has paid, I place our order and should have meters in hand by Wednesday. I'll then redistribute, so you will have yours in hand by Saturday, latest Monday 6/29. If you can't commit to paying this weekend, please don't play. To be fair to everyone else, I'll be placing our order for everyone who has paid on Monday 6/22, which won't include you, if you didn't pay, even if you posted up that you're interested.
Why do you want a digital voltmeter? Well so you can monitor your battery voltage in real time... check out TrickyT's digital voltmeter bling thread. https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/287090-digital-voltmeter-bling.html
And if you have a 95-97 80 series, you may also be interested in a bezel that will hold this meter, which you can see here: Gamiviti - custom mic holders At that point you're a trip to Radio Shack away from having a switchable, real-time monitoring solution for your batteries. This is going to be the only time I orchestrate one of these "group buys," after that I'll be bundling these meters with the switch, the bezel, the in-line fuses, and wire terminals, at a price that'll be a little more than you early adopters will be able to piece this all together for, but less than you'll be at if you tried to put this all together on your own purchased separately.
